Today's Football Predictions

Today's football predictions, limited to fixtures kicking off inside the current UTC day and ranked by model confidence. It is the same engine as the full feed with a tighter window, so the page answers one question only: what is worth looking at before tonight's matches.

Upcoming fixtures and selections

Why a same-day view is different

Same-day analysis has information a week-ahead analysis does not: confirmed availability, weather, a settled market price and, close to kick-off, lineup news. That extra certainty is why today's selections tend to carry tighter confidence bands than fixtures further out.

It also means the page changes through the day. A selection published in the morning can be revised when a first-choice striker is ruled out at midday, and the reasoning text is rewritten rather than quietly patched.

Reading today's odds movement

Prices on same-day markets move fastest in the two hours before kick-off, when confirmed lineups reach the market. A shortening price usually means the market has absorbed news the earlier number did not, and a drifting price is worth reading as a warning rather than an opportunity.

Our selections are read against mainstream bookmaker prices at analysis time. Where a market has moved past the point the argument depended on, that is stated on the fixture page rather than left for the reader to discover.

Using today's list responsibly

Today's page is the most heavily trafficked view on the site, which is exactly why it carries the plainest warning: same-day volume tempts volume betting. A short list of selections you can explain will always be better than a long one you cannot.

Nothing here is a guaranteed win. Statlign is not a bookmaker, takes no stakes, and publishes analysis for research and entertainment. If betting has stopped being entertainment, our responsible gambling page lists support services by country.
