Statlign exposes its public sports intelligence to AI agents and LLMs over the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This page documents how agents discover the endpoints, the headers they need, rate limits, and copy-paste connection snippets.
How agents discover Statlign
Every discovery signal points at the endpoints below.
/llms.txt — machine-readable index of endpoints, tools and key pages.
/robots.txt — explicit allow blocks for GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, CCBot and Applebot.
A <link rel="alternate"> hint in the site head advertises the MCP endpoint for capable clients.
Public endpoint (no auth)
Public, approved predictions. No API key required.

The public endpoint needs no auth headers — send Content-Type: application/json only. It is rate limited to 120 requests/minute per IP; over-limit requests return HTTP 429 with a Retry-After header.
The keyed gateway additionally requires an X-API-Key: <your-key> header for higher per-key throughput.
Connect an MCP client
Add Statlign as a remote MCP (Streamable HTTP) server with no authentication.
